School based traineeships and apprenticeships also provide young people with a great kick start to their career as they combine HSC study with paid work to give real experience.

Our Australian Government supported Aboriginal Employment Strategy is providing business incentives and culturally specific mentoring for local Indigenous people to gain skills while successfully working for local businesses.
Many of our apprentices and trainees are award winning. HVTC Group had more finalists in the Group Training Australia Awards than any other training company. One of our North Coast apprentices, Alexander Hackett from Clunes, is the NSW School-Based Apprentice of the Year and was a finalist in the recent Group Training Australia National Awards.
